This has been harder than I thought – especially since I re-found American Horror Story season 1 on the suggestion field of my Netflix queue.
- Run 4 to 5 times a week (Half marathon training is in full swing)
But I am going to do it. Official WDW training starts on Tuesday, the 24th, and I am not that far off from being up to 4-5 times. I’m actually at 3 solidly a week. I can’t believe that ever happened, I thought I’d just be a weekend runner but here I am now that I actually take my rest days on the weekend (short of beer runs).
I have to say that with running I have been getting a lot of excellent relief, both stress and (oddly) physical relief, from running that I can’t believe it. How did this become my life?
I go to school.
I see my friends and family.
I’m having the best time of my life. Couldn’t be any more stressful and complicated. I am most fortunate to have the burgeoning skill of running and the relief it brings. Even if it means dying of an asthmatic attack twice a week. Find what helps balance your life and releases the stress of theatre – it’s a great creative outlet, but sometimes you need something outside of the four walls to feel complete and whole. ‘Til next time.
